How to Play Yukon Solitaire

Objective

Setup

In Yukon Solitaire, the tableau consists of seven piles arranged as follows:

The first pile contains 1 card, the second pile contains 6 cards, the third pile contains 7 cards, and so on until the seventh pile.
The top card of each pile is dealt face up. Additionally, all tableau piles except the first are dealt 4 more face-up cards. This setup creates a dynamic starting point where multiple moves are available from the start.

There are two main areas in the game:

Foundation piles: These four empty piles are located above the tableau. Your goal is to fill these piles by suit from Ace to King.
Tableau piles: These seven piles form the main working area of the game. Cards are arranged here during the deal and throughout gameplay.

Rules

While Yukon Solitaire shares some similarities with Klondike Solitaire, it has its own unique gameplay mechanics:

Cards in the tableau are built down by alternating colors (e.g., a red card can only be placed on a black card of the next higher rank).
You can move groups of cards regardless of their order, as long as the bottom card of the group is one rank lower and of the opposite color than the card you are placing it on. For example, if a tableau pile starts with a red 7, you can move a stack beginning with a black 6 onto it, even if other cards in the stack are not in sequence.
Only Kings or groups of cards starting with a King can be moved into empty tableau piles.
Foundation piles must be built by suit in ascending order, starting with Ace and ending with King.
You can move cards from a foundation pile back to the tableau, allowing for strategic backtracking when necessary.
