Solitaire Land Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction
    Solitaire Land (hereinafter referred to as the "Website") is an online platform that offers users the ability to play solitaire games, including but not limited to Spider Solitaire and FreeCell. These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Website.

  2. Use of the Website
    You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the Website for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not use the Website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Website, except as follows:

  • Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
  • You may store files that are automatically cached by your Web browser for display enhancement purposes.

  1. User Content
    The Website may allow you to submit, upload, publish or otherwise make available content, including but not limited to text, photographs, videos, and audio (collectively, "User Content"). You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you make available through the Website.

    The Website and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by Solitaire Land, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other proprietary or intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

    This does not apply to:
      *  The card images which follow the MIT License (the GitHub repository is available here). Thank you Matt Cain for the amazing set of cards.
      *  The fonts used in the Website.

  3. Disclaimers
    The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Solitaire Land makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation of the Website or the information, content, materials, or products included on the Website. You expressly agree that your use of the Website is at your sole risk.

  4. Limitation of Liability
    Solitaire Land will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Website, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

  5. Modifications to the Terms
    Solitaire Land reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Website following the posting of any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.

  6. General Terms
    These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Solitaire Land with respect to the use of the Website. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. The failure of Solitaire Land to enforce any right or provision in these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by us in writing.
